About The Position

As an Instrumentation Technician I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes at Pfizer's Sanford facility. Your responsibilities will include the specification, design, installation, validation, maintenance, and calibration of large-scale manufacturing computer information systems. This position is vital for improving manufacturing success rates and ensuring that patients receive their medications on time. You will work closely with the Technical Operations team to implement process improvements and troubleshoot instrumentation issues, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of production.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1+ year of experience working with instrumentation and calibration in a GxP environment or an AAS degree.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, install, validate, maintain, and calibrate large-scale manufacturing computer information systems.
• Integrate manufacturing/process operational knowledge and equipment control into large systems.
• Perform calibrations on process and analytical instrumentation in support of continuous operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and related equipment/systems.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment and instrumentation.
• Document all work order activities in EAMS and relevant equipment logs.
• Utilize DMAIC techniques to troubleshoot and resolve calibration/instrumentation issues in a timely manner.
• Read and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Support engineering projects to select and install appropriate instrumentation.
