About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for a Instrumentation Systems and Integration Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, MO supporting Phantom Works. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level and Associate Level Instrumentations Systems and Integration Engineers - Phantom Works.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Nice To Haves

  • Level 2: 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience designing special test equipment for flight programs and supporting proposals
  • 2+ years of experience with precision test and measurement devices
  • 2+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or something similar
  • 2+ years of experience with flight test, flight operations, or system test

Responsibilities

  • Applies knowledge of aerospace components, systems, and related test equipment, facilities, processes and methods including:
  • Analyze engineering designs to define testing requirements
  • Prepare test plans, schedules and documentation
  • Design, develop and safely operate test facilities and instrumentation systems
  • Conduct component, sub-system, system and system-of-systems tests
  • Prepare analyze, and report test results to verify and validate design and performance to meet government, regulatory, customer and program compliance requirements
  • Conduct aerospace research and preliminary design; develop and transition test technology
  • Perform metrology services (calibration, certification & maintenance) on all related instruments and equipment
