Requirements

• High School Graduate
• CST Certification preferred.
• Inventory background preferred.
• Able to run and maintain sterilizers.
• Able to maintain surgical inventory.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, and sterilize surgical instruments in compliance with industry standards to ensure quality and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date just-in-time surgical inventory levels for the Surgical Services Department.
• Collaborate effectively with the Director, resource nurses, and other team members to share ideas, optimize resource utilization, and assist with staff cross-training.
• Actively participate in routine biological checks of sterilizers to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Participate in team efforts and encourage a cooperative environment to provide the highest quality patient-focused care.
