About The Position

As the Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the instrumentation team in the development of custom test set ups, power electronics integration, and sensor instrumentation for missile level hardware and other high performance components. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing custom test setups Integrating power electronics and sensor instrumentation Leading the instrumentation team Collaborating with other teams to achieve project goals Traveling to support the Ordnance and Propulsion Lab Why Join Us We are looking for a collaborative and experienced engineer to join our team. Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Dallas. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Requirements

  • 5 plus years of hands on instrumentation, test set design, or systems integration experience
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple test schedules, and maintain records.
  • Knowledge of high current power electronics, DC/DC converters, and solid state switching.
  • Experience supporting range based testing
  • Experience developing battery load test rigs, power electronics integration, and test equipment
  • Ability to obtain a clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Computer skills and application knowledge.
  • 5+ years familiarity with high frequency data acquisition with experience leading multi disciplinary projects.
  • Knowledge of structures behavior under load and discovering root causes of failure.
  • Experience with a collaborating while also performing independent troubleshooting.
