Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is vital for keeping our plant running smoothly, impacting both production and overall facility reliability. As an I/E Technician, you'll be key to maintaining and optimizing our electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and automated systems. Your expertise will ensure all control equipment functions precisely, guaranteeing uninterrupted and safe operations. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all plant instrumentation, electrical equipment, DCS, and power distribution systems to ensure operational integrity. Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate a wide range of instrumentation and electrical equipment throughout the facility. Install and connect new electrical and control systems, ensuring seamless integration. Install, troubleshoot, and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Accurately document inspections, calibrations, and equipment changes, maintaining vital records (e.g., ISO, SAP). Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and SOPs to guide work and diagnose issues. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment, including the safe use of hand and power tools. Collaborate effectively with team members across departments and be available for call-ins and scheduled overtime as needed. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Minimum Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, and a two-year technical degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, and/or Industrial Automation. Five (5) years of experience in the Instrumentation and Electrical field. (Your two-year technical degree can count towards this experience.) Compensation: Wage/Salary Range: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Note: Our typical hiring range for this role is $40.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. This position is eligible for a 6% annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
