About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Electrical Estimator to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for industrial, commercial, and construction projects.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in electrical or I&E estimating or 5-7 years of proven field experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft(Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of NEC codes, instrumentation standards, and construction practices.
• Experience in industrial or oil & gas environments.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specifications, prints, and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings to determine project scope.
• Perform detailed material takeoffs for electrical and instrumentation components.
• Prepare and submit formal bid proposals and cost breakdowns.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for pricing and technical clarity.
• Estimate instrumentation devices such as transmitters, analyzers, control valves, junction boxes, and PLC/DCS/SIS components.
• Evaluate labor hours for calibration, tubing installation, wiring, terminations, and loop checks.
