About The Position
Instrumentation Controls Technician A Career in Electrical & Automation! Join our team as an Instrumentation Controls Technician and take charge of keeping our facility running at peak performance. This is your chance to work with PLCs, industrial wiring, and automation systems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What You’ll Be Doing: Diagnose and fix electrical issues using advanced tools and your expertise. Troubleshoot and repair PLC applications and even edit programs. Perform electrical wiring for industrial equipment and machinery. Calculate proper sizing for wiring, breakers, and transformers. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, ladder logic, and manuals. Order parts and keep everything running smoothly. Complete SOPs and documentation accurately. Maintain confidentiality and follow all safety and compliance standards. Be ready for overtime when needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Formal electrical training/certification OR 6+ years of experience in an ICT role.
- 4+ years in a production environment with PLC systems and electrical controls.
- Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley, Schneider Controls, and Automation Direct.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrical installations and 480v wiring.
- Ability to install, run, and pull conduit for wiring.
- Read and modify programs and code for automation.
- Positive attitude, great time management, and teamwork skills.
