This is an on site field support position at Surry Nuclear Power Station. You will work on a multi-discipline engineering team involved in nuclear power plant instrumentations and controls betterment projects, which integrate electrical and mechanical engineering along with control theory. The role involves working with electronic process sensors, digital controllers, touchscreen displays, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, steam turbines, and reactors to improve nuclear power plant functionality. You will prepare specifications for equipment procurement and engineering calculations for plant upgrades and modifications. The company offers mentoring, technical sessions, and on-the-job training to enhance engineering knowledge and skills. There will be opportunities to travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant sites for project coordination and field verification.
