About The Position

Our Collaboration Hub in the Warehouse District of New Orleans, Louisiana, serves as an important location for our global support groups, including investor relations, finance, engineering, marketing, communications, and information technology. Employees in New Orleans mostly follow a hybrid schedule where they collaborate virtually and may be required to attend occasional in-person meetings or training. The Hub is located inside a beautiful historic building and provides office space, meeting rooms, kitchen and dining space, phone booths, and technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. New Orleans is a popular tourist destination known for its rich history, architecture, cultural arts, music, and cuisine. Many great hotels, galleries, restaurants, and museums are a short walk from the Hub. What You Will Do Review, investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding assigned engineering projects. Manage projects and serve as subject matter expert (SME) on large/complex site planning/construction, expansion or modifications. Provide guidance and counsel to the site management team on applicable processes, practices, and existing/proposed local, state and federal regulations. Contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated engineering areas. Develop and evaluate Appropriation Request (AR) for capital funding. May evaluate and administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment. May represent the site on Company sponsored steering committees, task forces, or teams. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED and nine (9) years of Engineering experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a Scientific discipline and five (5) years of Engineering experience
  • Domestic and International travel up to 15%
