As an Instrumentation and Controls Project Engineer in our Madison office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Requirements

  • BSME or BSEE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in the consulting engineering industry.
  • Experience with communicating with clients, partners and individuals at all levels within an organization.
  • Experience in consulting engineering in utility plant design.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) in one or more states.
  • Detailed, hands-on knowledge of PLC or DCS control systems.
  • Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, field survey, commissioning, and startup support.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively individually and within team environments.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the mechanical engineering design and supporting the overall process on all assigned projects.
  • Develop innovative and unique engineering solutions that align with the project, client, and partner needs.
  • Lead the discipline team in implementing engineering solutions.
