About The Position

The Instrumentation and Controls Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing first-line supervision of full-time and temporary I&C Maintenance personnel at the Grand Gulf Nuclear facility. This role involves managing multiple priorities, ensuring safety and efficiency in maintenance tasks, and representing the I&C Maintenance department in various organizational meetings. The supervisor will also interface with regulatory representatives and participate in emergency response activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the I&C Maintenance department.
• 5 years of experience in a related field (B.S. in Engineering or related technical degree may be credited for 3 years of experience).
• Proficiency with current computer business applications.
• 2 years of technical training in I&C Maintenance.
• Technical proficiency in the I&C Maintenance area.
• Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.
• Must meet ANSI/ANS Standards and Regulatory Guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• SRO or certification on BWR or PWR.

Responsibilities

• Supervise full-time and temporary I&C Maintenance personnel.
• Manage multiple and conflicting priorities in a safe and productive manner.
• Assist in the development of the I&C Maintenance budget and operate within it.
• Ensure I&C Maintenance tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
• Propose time-saving tooling and work methods for maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural guidelines in I&C Maintenance activities.
• Manage personnel conflicts and concerns within the I&C Maintenance team.
• Interface with other Entergy sites for resource sharing in I&C Maintenance.
• Communicate technical information related to I&C Maintenance verbally and in writing.
• Participate in the shared resources program and serve in the Emergency Response Organization.
