As an Instrumentation and Controls (l & C) Technician, you will install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot our industrial control systems, sensors, and automated equipment. You will ensure manufacturing systems run safely and efficiently by interpreting schematics, wiring devices, and using diagnostic tools. Key skills include PLC troubleshooting, SCADA system monitoring, adhering to safety compliance, a teamwork mindset and a positive, can-do attitude. Nexus has built an outstanding culture. Responsibilities

  • Calibrate, test, and repair transmitters, controllers, and analyzers to ensure accurate process measurement.
  • Install and wire new control equipment, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and loop checks.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in pneumatic, electronic, and hydraulic control systems, often using SCADA systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of calibration, maintenance, and system changes, often using computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Assist in replacing or upgrading outdated instrumentation.
