Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Process/Controls Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present technical information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage time effectively while supporting multiple projects concurrently
  • Commitment to understanding and complying with company policies, procedures, and engineering standards

Nice To Haves

  • Successful completion (or pursuit) of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • Basic understanding of digital and analog control systems
  • Coursework or practical exposure to PLC, DCS, or control system programming

Responsibilities

  • Apply fundamental electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering principles to support project deliverables
  • Assist with the design and specification of instrumentation used to safely operate industrial and process systems
  • Develop and maintain key I&C documents, including: Instrument and I/O Lists Wiring and interconnection schematics Control system and instrumentation specifications
  • Prepare control narratives defining system operation, logic, and monitoring requirements
  • Collaborate within multidiscipline engineering teams to advance project designs from concept through execution
  • Assist with reviewing, analyzing, and integrating project design requirements
  • Learn how to select and adapt engineering approaches, tools, and techniques to meet project objectives
  • Support coordination efforts with project team members to achieve successful, timely design outcomes
