About The Position
The Band Teacher at Norfolk Senior High is responsible for organizing and conducting a learning program that enables students to master appropriate levels of subject matter, skills, and appreciation of music. The instructor serves as a positive role model and assists students in their social, mental, and emotional development through music education. This position requires a commitment to punctuality and reliability, as well as the ability to plan instructional objectives and activities consistent with music curriculum guidelines. The teacher will supervise student behavior, maintain accurate records, and communicate positively with students, staff, parents, and community stakeholders.
