About The Position

The Instrument Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment through proper handling and reprocessing. This role is essential in ensuring that endoscopic equipment is cleaned and disinfected according to departmental policies and manufacturer recommendations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing Certification preferred.
• IAHCSMM CER Certification preferred or achieve in six months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment through proper handling and reprocessing.
• Cleans and disinfects endoscopic equipment as per policy and procedures of the department in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer.
