The Instrument Sales Representative III at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is responsible for building successful account and territory plans, translating territory strategy into business results, and managing the entire sales process. This role involves capital equipment sales and large reagent deals, requiring strong funnel management skills, prospecting, and closing abilities. The representative will create territory planning using market knowledge and accurate forecasting, develop and lead a business plan to meet or exceed business goals, and utilize Salesforce and other IT tools for sales tracking. The position also requires the representative to understand scientific project and business needs to effectively position GA solutions such as qPCR, Digital PCR, sequencing, and microarray to win business and promote consumables.
