About The Position

NV5 is an ENR Top 500 firm; we offer a full range of professional services in offices throughout the U.S. We are looking for an Instrument Person to support the Survey group.

Requirements

• Experience with Topcon Total Stations, TDS software a plus
• HS degree/diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of surveying equipment
• Read a survey grade level
• Take level notes and drawing sketches
• Perform basic calculations
• Upload/download data to/from a data collector on a regular basis
• Maintain field equipment
• Stock survey fleet truck with supplies and maintain inventory
• Basic survey fleet truck maintenance (wash, check oil, etc.)
