Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and 2-5 years I&C experience, or an equivalent number of years of education and experience.
• Familiar with tools and machinery required to perform daily repair duties.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as working as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel extensively and work variable hours.
• Able to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers.

Nice To Haves

• TWIC card and Nuclear clearance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cut and install instrument air and process tubing as instructed.
• Fit and assemble instrument parts, checking instruments for accuracy and calibrating to specifications.
• Install industrial instruments and equipment, dismantling and re-assembling delicate mechanisms or electronic circuits.
• Overhaul instrument systems, checking performance using testing and measuring instruments.
• Set up computers and control equipment, interfacing computers to control systems.
• Travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
• Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
• Work closely with co-workers, management, and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
