The position involves adhering to established company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety regulations. The role requires the assembly, mounting, and installation of control panels, instruments, and associated sensing devices that measure, indicate, transmit, record, and control various systems. The candidate will plan layouts and installations according to manufacturer instructions, specifications, and issued design details and drawings. Additionally, the role includes assembling and installing instrument stands, brackets, trays, clamps, and hangers to secure instrumentation and other components properly. The position also involves measuring, cutting, threading, and installing small bore piping typically associated with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, along with extensive tubing bending and installation experience. The candidate will perform pressure testing of installed tubing and small bore pipes to ensure system integrity and must be able to read various technical drawings such as P&IDs, details, location, schematics, and isometrics. The role requires working in a timely manner while maintaining an orderly and clean work area, performing regular maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, and instrumentation, and preparing and recording QC installation documents. The candidate will also perform installation inspections with engineers and clients as per Installation Testing Procedures (ITPs). Physical capability to work in a construction environment, including extensive walking, climbing, confined spaces, elevated work areas, and lifting tools and equipment up to 40lbs, is essential. Typically, candidates should have around 48 months of industrial construction experience.
