About The Position

ReCon Management Services, Inc. is seeking an Instrument Engineer for a client in Sulphur, LA. Qualified candidates will be capable of specifying all instruments as well as creating controls narratives. The position involves technical supervision of design and drafting, design, implementation and enforcement of company standards and policies, and management of personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university
• At least nine (9) years of experience in the refinery, petrochemical, or chemical industries
• Valid Driver's License as per State law or requirement
• Professional Engineer License desired

• Seeking to mentor younger engineers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook or similar software
• Experienced with discipline-specific computer applications (i.e., ETAP, STAAD, CAESAR, etc.)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of regulatory codes and requirements in the related discipline
• Knowledge related to design in discipline field
• Knowledge of key aspects of Civil, Mechanical, I/E and Chemical Engineering
