About The Position

As the Application Administrator, you will provide comprehensive business and system support for analytical software and associated dedicated hardware, as well as administrative support for server-based laboratory applications. You will employ skilled system and technical knowledge to ensure a stable systems environment, support the implementation of software upgrades, configure network connectivity, and identify technical enhancements to support business needs. Additionally, you will support the validation team by gathering requirements, writing test scripts, and creating other validation deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • 2+ years' experience working in a software development environment, with at least 2 years directly involved in requirement gathering.
  • Thorough knowledge of two or more technology services (Server – Windows/Linux; Data Centers; Storage; Virtualization; Messaging; Global Operations Management; Citrix; and Cloud platforms).
  • Experience in configuring systems and troubleshooting systems.
  • Good MS Office skills.

  • Knowledge of system development life cycle and requirements methodology.
  • Ability to write use cases and design specifications for moderately complex systems.
  • Ability to estimate level of effort for small to medium-sized projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact with relational databases at an intermediate level.
  • Solid understanding of clinical trials operational processes and terminology.
