About The Position

We're looking for a junior Instrument and Controls (I&C) Designer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. This is a hybrid position in Albany, NY. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects focused on designing state of the art structures within Advanced Facilities. Come be a part of a vibrant, dynamic team that delivers world class designs for well known clients around the world. As an I&C Designer, you'll be accountable for developing Revit models for instruments, control panels and cable tray working in a collaborative environment. You will be expected to update Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID), panel designs, and wiring diagrams, in AutoCAD, as well as work on projects with aggressive schedules, and a dynamic design environment. Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Associate of Applied Science Degree.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and Revit.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including MS Word, Access, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience in industrial facilities.
  • Experience in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power, and building automation system design.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Revit models for instruments, control panels, and cable trays.
  • Update Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID), panel designs, and wiring diagrams in AutoCAD.
  • Work on projects with aggressive schedules in a dynamic design environment.
