About The Position
PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating, through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We have an opportunity at our Martinez Refinery in California and are seeking a talented Instrument/Analyzer Technician to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. The Instrument/Analyzer Technician reports to the Instrument/Analyzer Shop Team Leader. This team plans and executes all instrument and analyzer work for the refinery. The successful candidate will work to install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot components of instrumentation and analyzer systems. Instrumentation includes flow, temperature, pressure, and level displacers/transmitters, control circuits, electronic/pneumatic control valves and actuators, and programmable logic controllers (PLC). Analyzers include laser systems, mass spectrometry, gas analyzers (hydrogen, CO/CO2, H2S and combustion gases), and liquid measurement (pH, conductivity, sodium, and TOC.
