About The Position

West Virginia University School of Nursing: Potomac State Department located on the Keyser Campus invites applications for a Non-Tenure, Clinical Education Track Instructor. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE, 9-month, benefits-eligible position to teach in the LPN to BSN program. The selected applicant will begin the position upon hire. This position will report to the Department Chairperson. Note: This is not a remote position.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN).
• Two (2) years of practice experience as a registered nurse in critical care or similar settings.
• Unencumbered West Virginia Multistate RN license by position start date.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years of academic teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaching adult health and critical care didactics in online classroom settings.
• Teaching adult health and critical care clinicals, skills labs, and simulations in face-to-face settings.
• Serving on School of Nursing committees.
• Attending School of Nursing faculty meetings and events.
