About The Position

This position reports directly to the Program Director or Director of Pro EMS Center for MEDICS. This position is responsible for the execution of any or all practical lessons, laboratory sessions, simulation sessions and lecture as needed.

Requirements

• Must be a currently certified at the level of instruction intended
• Certified emergency care experience shall include a minimum of three (3) years practice
• Must have appropriate instructor credentials applicable for desired position

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor’s degree is desirable

Responsibilities

• Conducts classroom lectures and practical sessions as required
• Conducts on-line instruction as needed
• Assists Program Director with curriculum development as needed
• Teach practical sessions through simulation
• Conduct BLS, ACLS, PALS or other certification training as appropriate
• Complies with the policies of the Center for MEDICS, State of Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs
