Course / Program Description This course takes a systemic approach to injury recognition and evaluation in emergency and nonemergency situations. Instruction emphasizes the knee, foot and ankle, shoulder, elbow, head, neck, and back. Job Description UCLA Extension offers a wide variety of certificate programs and courses including transfer-credit (XL), post-baccalaureate credit-bearing (400-level), continuing education (CEU) credit, and non-credit-bearing general interest courses. UCLA Extension courses and certificate programs offer students the opportunity to learn from highly qualified practitioners who hold advanced degrees, are passionate about teaching and impart knowledge within their field of expertise. Applications to teach are accepted throughout the year to fill immediate program needs and increase the depth of the instructor pool. An opening for an Instructor is available in the discipline of Community Health Sciences. Qualified applicants possessing a minimum of a masters in science degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology or related field plus teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
