About The Position

Instructor Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. When reporting to the office, the candidate must report to the Carelon Global Solutions Puerto Rico offices located on PR-2 km 159 STE 301 Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Schedule: This position will work an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday. Candidate should have availability from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Additional hours, including weekends or holidays, may be required based on operational needs. The Instructor is responsible for facilitating performance-based learning events focused primarily on concrete skills related to operations processes. How You Will Make an Impact Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Facilitates learning events that are performance-based in nature and across multiple platforms. Assists in rapid course development methodologies. Exercises classroom management, including learner performance and escalates issues to Learning & Development and client leadership when necessary. Assists in completion of service level agreements, participates and assists in identifying training needs to determine appropriate learning solutions. Measures, tracks and evaluates learner and client satisfaction. Thinks and acts globally and is aware of learning and cultural differences both domestically and globally that drive learner effectiveness. Keeps technical skills updated. Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish). Must be able to write, read and speak both languages in a proficiency level.
  • 2 year experience in a front line operations position preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience facilitating training in healthcare industry strongly preferred.
