About The Position

Clinical care of children with general neurological disorders including epilepsy in outpatient/inpatient settings. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification required
  • Prescriptive Authority or ability to obtain before start date
  • Must successfully pass a drug test through Children’s Hospital Colorado
  • Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check
  • Additional training and expertise in Pediatric neurology
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge and clinical skills in general pediatric neurology

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient child neurology clinics
  • Inpatient service
  • Weekend call coverage
  • Regional/satellite outpatient clinics
  • Mentorship & education of residents/fellows
