About the Job General Summary of Position Coordinates and instructs training programs for healthcare professionals. Qualified candidates must hold a current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor certification and maintain all requirements to remain authorized to teach American Heart Association courses. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assists in the clinical and marketing efforts of the Clinical Simulation Center. Maintains instruction/training aids and equipment. Participates in other quality education programs for healthcare providers including Code Blue Preparedness In Situ Advanced refresher courses and conferences. Plans and instructs Continuing Education Courses for healthcare professionals and lay rescuer within the AHA guidelines. Plans coordinates and instructs AHA advanced courses including but not limited to Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or AAP/AHA NRP courses.
