About The Position

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a full time (1.0FTE) open rank Instructor - Professor in all specialties to support our site of practice at Medical Center of the Rockies in Northern Colorado. These specialties include, Glaucoma, Cornea, Retina, Uveitis, Oculoplastics and Neuro-Ophthalmology. This position will provide outpatient medical and surgical management of these specialties at UCH and Medical Center of the Rockies in Northern Colorado.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. trained and have completed an approved residency program in ophthalmology.
• Must be board certified or eligible and have a Colorado medical license or be eligible.

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary environment between subspecialty ophthalmologists.

Responsibilities

• Direct outpatient medical and surgical management of specialty patients at UCH and Medical Center of the Rockies in Northern Colorado.
• Provide resident teaching and basic or clinical applied research.
