About The Position

The Instructor Pilot position at Flexjet involves delivering pilot training courses through both classroom instruction and simulator training. The role is crucial in ensuring that Flexjet pilots receive exceptional training that adheres to company standards and regulatory requirements. The instructor will work closely with Captains and First Officers, contributing to the development of training materials and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in pilot training.

Requirements

• FAA ATP with type rating in at least one Company fleet aircraft
• Minimum of one year experience with Flexjet as a pilot is preferred
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory issues impacting Flexjet training requirements
• Knowledge of simulator-based flight training program structure
• Current instructional design technology
• Working knowledge of Flexjet Flight Operations Manual

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with CAMP software
• Strong interpersonal, verbal/written, listening, and presentation skills
• Ability to act as a liaison with governmental officials, FAA, TSA, and other agencies

Responsibilities

• Simulator flight training to Flexjet pilots
• Classroom instruction in all subjects
• Assist in the development of courseware and training material
• Support the development and certification of training curriculums
• Deliver exceptional initial and recurrent pilot training instruction
• Ensure training procedures reflect actual operations and SOPs
• Maintain currency on regulatory issues impacting Flexjet Flight Operations
• Inspect work and correct as necessary to meet quality requirements
• Support other team members and conduct oneself in a respected manner
• Perform all operations in a safe manner
• Continuously learn and train others
• Manage time to optimize productivity
• Communicate with colleagues and supervisors clearly and timely
