About The Position
The School of American & Global Studies at South Dakota State University invites applications for a full-time Instructor or Lecturer of Philosophy. This is a nine-month, benefits-eligible, temporary position located on our main campus in Brookings, South Dakota. The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional years based on program needs and performance. We seek a dynamic scholar with teaching competence in applied ethics, introductory logic, and critical thinking. The anticipated start date is August 22, 2025. The position is supervised by the Director of the School of American & Global Studies, and supplemental summer salary may be available.
