About The Position

Requirements

• Masters of Sciences in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
• Minimum of two (2) years full time clinical experience in med-surg. /adult nursing.
• Evidence of basic knowledge of instructional process and educational evaluation techniques.
• Licensure as a Registered nurse in the State of Texas or compact state recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years of teaching experience in a nursing program or staff development position.
• DNP or PhD in nursing related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership skills related to coordination of courses.
• Demonstrate knowledge of curriculum and instructional design and implementation.
• Demonstrate achievement in scholarly and research activities.
• Active membership in a professional organization.
• Expertise in critical care nursing.
