Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited or RCPSC-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Texas medical license or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas

Nice To Haves

• Experience education of residents and/or medical students
• Board certification in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the rank of assistant professor or higher
• Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher
• Bilingual in English/Spanish

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the University's mission through teaching students and residents, research, and clinical services
• Provides patient care services in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Engages in scholarly activities in the area of Women's Health
• Serves the academic community through participations in institutional governance such as committee work and other administrative duties
• Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complimentary to the institutional mission
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
• Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
• Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility
