About The Position
The Department of Dental Hygiene at UAMS seeks a full-time, 12-month faculty member to join our collaborative team. This position involves teaching in both didactic and clinical settings, supporting curriculum development and program assessment, participating in interprofessional education, and engaging in university and professional service. The Dental Hygiene program offers a 5-semester BS degree, admitting 36 students annually through a holistic admissions process. Our curriculum emphasizes active learning, critical thinking, and interprofessional collaboration, with clinical experiences at UAMS and affiliated sites such as Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the Central Arkansas VA.
