SUNY Morrisville is seeking qualified candidates to apply for a tenure-track position that supports SUNY Morrisville's Computer and Information Technology department. The position will start in August 2025. This full-time appointment focuses on game programming at the undergraduate level. There will be limited capacity for research, but program expansion and curriculum development are expected from the successful candidate. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The primary responsibility for this position is teaching a full course load of undergraduate courses (15-17 contact hours per semester). This includes courses in game programming, game design and development, 3D modeling, game engine development, and VR/AR game development. Most courses have a structure with 2 lecture hours and 2 lab hours each week to enhance the applied education that SUNY Morrisville is renowned for. In addition to teaching, faculty members have an expectation of service to the campus community through committees, program review and assessment, and activities such as student club advising.
