The position is for an Instructor or Assistant Professor for a 3-year term in the Construction Management program at Northern Michigan University. The role involves developing and teaching undergraduate courses covering various topics such as Construction Documents, Field Operations, Soils and Foundations, Construction Economics and Standard Practices, Property Development, and Project Control. The delivery of these courses will take place in both lecture and lab settings, as well as online asynchronously. Additional responsibilities include student advising, laboratory equipment maintenance, career placement assistance, course and curriculum development, assessment of student learning, committee assignments, coordination with alumni and potential industry donors, applied research or other scholarly activities, and membership in professional organizations. This is a campus-based position.
