About The Position
The University of Alabama School of Music is seeking a Full Time Instructor of Vocal Coaching. This is a non-tenure earning renewable academic year appointment. Primary duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in vocal coaching, in addition to musical support, coaching, and conducting in the opera program, as needed. The ideal candidate will have a growing national reputation as a teacher, coach, performer, and/or conductor. Master's Degree required. DMA or commensurate professional experience preferred. Successful teaching experience at the college/university level is also preferred.
