About The Position

The instructor is responsible for teaching MA 105 (Intermediate Algebra). The study of polynomials, linear and nonlinear equations and inequalities, exponents, radicals, systems, relations, and functions. An Algebra review for students based on their placement scores. In-person classroom instruction on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:50 is required.

Requirements

  • Preferred master's degree in math with 18 graduate hours in math or a math education master's degree with 18 graduate hours in math or math education
  • Familiarity with and basic understanding of computers and their application in an academic setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to teach Algebra effectively

  • Knowledge of CANVAS LMS
