About The Position
The Department of Modern Languages and Classics at The University of Alabama invites applications for a full-time, renewable position in Italian beginning January 2026. Ability to teach Italian language and culture to undergraduates on all levels required. An average of 12 credit hours taught per semester. Service expected. Minimum of MA or equivalent required. Applicants must demonstrate native-like fluency in Italian as well as an excellent functional command of English. Candidate must have evidence of successful Italian teaching at the university level.
