About The Position
The Department of Modern Languages at the University of Mississippi [modernlanguages.olemiss.edu] seeks an Instructor of Chinese. The successful candidate will teach all levels courses in Chinese. The ideal candidate will hold an M.A. in Chinese or a related field by August 2026and demonstrate effective teaching experience. While the position is non-tenure-track, it is renewable annually and exists on a promotion track to Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer.
