About The Position
Golden West College is seeking three (3) full-time, one-year, temporary equity-minded, faculty members in the Nursing Department commencing with the Fall 2025 semester. These positions are primarily responsible for teaching these areas: Critical Care, Mental Health & Medical Surgical, and Geriatric Medical Surgical. These positions are grant funded; continuation of this position is contingent on funds available in the grant and other related California Education Code. In addition to teaching, this assignment also includes curriculum and program development; participation in department, division, and college committees; participatory governance activities assuming leadership roles both within the department and in the institution as a whole; collaboration across disciplines; the leveraging of student support resources; participation in ongoing professional development. The assignment may be day, evening, weekend, online, hybrid, or off-campus and is subject to change as needed.
