About The Position

Conducts structured classes. Adheres to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare. Provides Educational Instruction in Collaboration with the Clinical Development Department Demonstrates expert knowledge of established program curriculum and adheres to required standards. Prepares class materials and appropriate teaching/learning aids. Ensures all necessary materials and supplies are available prior to each class session. Delivers educational content using effective technology, strategies, and resources that engage learners and support skill development. Maintains the integrity of the curriculum by following established guidelines for structured classes. Adjusts educational plans or delivery methods based on learner needs, environmental changes, or technological updates. Provides feedback to Clinical Development regarding learner participation, instructional effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement. Reports concerns or issues as appropriate. Provides student remediation when needed to support learner success. Maintains Accurate Records Compiles and submits records of attendance, competency assessments, and continuing education activities to Clinical Development or Training Center faculty. Collects applicable fees in accordance with established procedures. Adheres to Safety, Infection Control, and Employee Health Policies Completes required education and participates in all mandated safety training. Correctly and consistently uses required personal protective equipment (PPE). Demonstrates knowledge of departmental emergency procedures, including fire, disaster, and other critical situations. Identifies, reports, and removes unsafe equipment or furniture. Requests assistance when necessary to maintain safety for self and others. Maintains a safe working environment and practices safe work habits at all times. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Basic skill set; 0–2 years of experience.

  • Previous teaching or instructional experience preferred.
