About The Position
Instructors are needed for various programs including child development, concealed handgun license, computers, cosmetology, health careers, massage therapy, and personal enrichment. Program information can be found here: https://www.hillcollege.edu/ContinuingEducation/Index.html . Candidates should have the knowledge base on how to teach via new instructional formats (internet, 2-way video, etc.) or be willing to receive training on new formats. Hill College is a comprehensive, two-year community college with campuses in Hillsboro and Cleburne. We also have an off-campus educational center located in Burleson. Openings in multiple subject areas available.
Requirements
- Varies per teaching discipline
- Knowledge base on how to teach via new instructional formats (internet, 2-way video, etc.) or be willing to receive training on new formats
Responsibilities
- Planning of course materials
- Preparation of lectures
- Meeting all scheduled classes
- Clearly informing students of course requirements
- Fairly and impartially grading all students in accordance with the standards established by the institution
