About The Position
The Instructor is responsible for the planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom and related activities, including, but not limited to; instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, and participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations. The Instructor is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Coastal Alabama Community College campus as assigned. The Instructor must adhere to the general faculty guidelines as specified by the College Policies and Procedures Manual, Department policies and procedures, the Dean, and the Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees. Appropriate placement on the Alabama Community College System salary schedule D1 (9 month).
