Bucks County Community College is seeking two experienced HVAC service professionals to join our team as part-time daytime instructors in our growing industrial skills program. The program will begin in April 2026 and will take place Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3 PM at The Center for Advanced Technologies on our Bristol campus. If you have a passion for hands-on training, industry expertise, and mentoring the next generation of skilled technicians, we want you on our team!

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 5+ years of HVAC service experience or an associate degree.
  • 10+ years in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
  • EPA 608 Certification
  • Expertise in preparing students for industry-recognized certification.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC safety, blueprint reading, and HVAC-related math.
  • Proficiency in MS Office for email and recordkeeping.

  • Final candidates will be required to successfully complete a Pennsylvania background check as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and mentor students in various HVAC service technician processes and techniques, ensuring safety and industry standards.
  • Develop lesson plans, track attendance, and assess student progress.
  • Prepare students for certification exams where applicable.
  • Maintain equipment and identify necessary supplies for instruction.
  • Foster teamwork, professionalism, and workplace communication skills.
