Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of field experience in HVAC.
- HVAC certification preferred.
- Prior teaching or training experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver all lecture, laboratory, and clinical instruction in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Follow current course outlines, objectives, and evaluation mechanisms; develop these materials as needed.
- Maintain daily lesson plans and instructional schedules.
- Monitor student attendance and retention; document per administrative requirements.
- Grade assignments promptly and provide constructive feedback.
- Offer educational assistance during scheduled office hours or by appointment.
- Substitute for other instructors as needed.
- Advise students on academic performance, policies, and procedures.
- Manage classroom equipment and supply inventory.
- Maintain professional appearance and uphold college standards.
- Pursue professional development opportunities to meet accreditation requirements.
- Ensure students adhere to college policies and guidelines.
- Attend all mandatory faculty meetings.
- Participate in committees such as curriculum development and student retention as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as required.
