About The Position

We are seeking a Part time Instructor to teach Didactic and clinical skills for the Dialysis Technician Program. Courses includes clinical hours in a local dialysis center. This is a part-time, hourly position. Program courses run in Fall and Spring semesters. Clinical course runs in Spring semester. Course and clinical hours are offered per program needs. The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with AAS
• Current NJ RN license
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Dialysis Nursing

Nice To Haves

• BSN or Master's Degree in Health Care field preferred
• National certification in Dialysis Nursing preferred
• College-level teaching experience preferred, community college preferred
• Experience in distant learning modalities preferred
• Experience working with diverse populations preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College's academic calendar and approved syllabi
• Meet all scheduled class sessions of semester calendar
• Maintain and report accurate student grade and attendance records using approved procedures and systems
• Utilize the appropriate technology, including the College's student learning platform, to fulfill teaching duties
