About The Position
You’ll be responsible for monitoring and directing students in the driver’s education program, in compliance with government and management directives. MTC is proud to operate the San Diego Job Corps Center in Imperia Beach, CA where our staff provide quality services to our local youth. Requirements
- Valid certificate to teach driver's education in California.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates and explains handling of automobiles in emergencies, driving techniques, and mechanical operation of automobiles.
- Process students’ driver’s education applications
- Prepare students for written examinations through lectures, worksheets, and discussions.
- Evaluate students’ performance.
- Determine the students’ readiness to complete the written and driving tests.
- Maintain student accountability by documenting class attendance reports.
