Instructor - Construction Project Management
About The Position
The University of San Diego, Professional and Continuing Education is looking for an adjunct faculty member to teach and/or develop online classes in our Construction Project Management Certificate program. The program consists of five courses. The first course is offered in the online self-paced format and students have 6 months to complete it. The other four courses are in the development process to be offered in the online fixed-date format. Each of those four courses will be seven weeks in length. Requirements
- Master's degree in Project Management (with courses/concentration in construction project management).
- Work experience in the construction project management field along with a Bachelor’s degree may substitute for Master’s degree.
- Minimum of two (2) years of full-time professional experience in the construction project management field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with the Canvas learning management system is a plus
Responsibilities

- assessing student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment
- holding office hours
- meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested
- adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards
- working with the Learning Design Team to create and develop the course in our learning management system while meeting agreed upon deliverable dates.
